Just sittitng here thinking about how cold it wil be when I go out today to blow the snow off my drive. Many years ago when skiing I would use silk glove liners, those are long gone. Hmm what do I have ... Nitrile gloves. Will that work ?
Going out in another hour and let you all know if it does.
Brrrr!

Sounds like a reasonable idea. You might to just do one hand to see if the nitrile gloved hand feels warmer :) ....

Ha Ha yeah that might be a great idea. Well it sure was cold out for the test. After an hour + of time on the Tractor in 10 degrees I would say it was a little bit better that without. My hands always sweat when wering the nitrile gloves, no sweat in 10 degrees though.
I would say it is good enough to repeat another trial.
Had both gloves on but right hand operates the levers and was the coldest. ....

For years my guys (bless their hearts) and I did commercial snow removal work on open station machines. In a big storm it would not be unusual for some of them to work 16 - 18 hours straight through.
We were as comfortable as could be dressed for snowmobiling, snowmobile suits, snowmobile helmets equipped with heated visors, heated gloves and heated insoles in snowmobile boots.
Best of luck. ....
