I would like to put an aerator on my F3680. Does anyone out there have experience with putting something not from Kubota on a front deck mower? Kubota sells a 'quick hitch' but it appears that it is used for only their implements, with a special fitting on the implement that attaches to the hitch.
Photos of what you might have done could be very useful.
Thanks
A Kubota F3680 is a front deck mower. It only has two 'lower link' connections used for mowing. Any other implement that will need lifting will have to have some sort of a top link connection. Kubota sells a snow blower, sweeper, snow plow, and a debris blower with proprietary hitch.
I guess I could get a pull type aerator, but it just seems so neat to watch what is being aerated??
Thanks,
Wouldn't it also be neat to mow and aerate at the same time? Most aerators, especially if weighted, level as well as puncture, so it's often a good idea to aerate more often than once in the spring. If your model doesn't have a rear 3pt, tow-behinds are even cheaper.
Man, I have a hard enough time doing one thing at a time. I have ordered a three point Millcreek 430 aerator with three point hook up. When it gets here, I will adapt to whatever I need to put it on front. The tow behind would really work, but garage storage without wheels would be difficult. Besides, if it were a tow behind type, then my neighbors would want to borrow it and their yard would look as good as mine?
Thanks for all your input.
