Hmmmm, no paint chips on the blower and green(ish) grass in the background.......

Is this an older picture or did Joisey get a milder winter than I though? ;)

Best of luck.

That was from 4 years ago when she was brand spanking new!

We got the second storm of the winter that was blow-able last Friday, and go figure, I only got 100 feet when I remembered I needed my goggles if I was using the blower. The snow was heavy and compacting, and while the blower was almost empty when I got off the tractor and stopped the blower, I had not let it clear fully and that little bit of snow snapped a sheer pin on the fan, so the snow became "Scrapable" real quick! ....

Saw something that looked kind of neat today. We have been getting a plowable snowstorm every Sunday night regular as clockwooks for far too long now. In our county seat town, (3,500 folks),they have a Kubota self propelled snowblower that is narrow enough to do the sidewalks, cute little cab and the works. never saw one like that. Frank. ....

If it looks anything like mine Dennis, the gravel driveway has taken its toll on the fan and chute relative to paint. All it took was a few miscalculations when the ground was not completely frozen to turn the thing into a machine gun :) ....

Frank, I suspect the machine you saw was Husqvarna orange not Kubota orange. ;)

We have one of their big ones, a 13hp walk-behind monster that really cleans up sidewalks fast. We also have the handle-mounted cab on it, complete with wiper even.

Best of luck. ....

Art-Murf; The name Kubota big as you please across the back right above four tiny suitcase weights. Steered with the rear axle like a combine. Could it be a front mount mower with an aftermarket blower mounted in place of the mower deck? This was mid morning, I never take a scotch and water till before supper. Frank. ....

Oh, I gotcha now. Clear as mud it is. ;)

What you saw then was a commercial front deck mower, likely a 4WD model, with a cab on it and a blower in place of the mower deck.

Your rear steer like a combine comment gave it away. They are great for that kind of work, they offer great visibility and turn very well.

Best of luck. ....
